August 7th The Success Covenant I
Bible Reading: Rom. 3:23; Heb. 7:9-10

Gen. 12:1-3
‘now the Lord had said to Abram: get out of your country, from your family and from your father’s house, to a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed’
Though you have a success covenant with God, the definite heart knowledge of it is crucial. The first thing God told Abraham was ‘walk with me and success will follow you’. This covenant was with Abraham and his seed, and that includes you. This covenant gave Abraham a private army, incredible wealth, sound health, long life and the capacity to be a blessing to many.
Rom. 4:13
‘for the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith’
Success, greatness, prosperity and abundance are of God. He is resoundingly and resplendently great, prosperous and successful and has nothing to do with failure or lack. So your success story began when God spoke to our father Abraham, it’s a generational blessing you have the right to walk in by faith and understanding.
Ps. 35:27 ‘let them shout for joy and be glad, who favour my righteous cause; and let them say continually, let the Lord be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant’
Prayer:
i. Pray that every marriage will know the sound of joy and the taste of success. Ps. 118:16
ii. Pray that God will grant you great wisdom and understanding for success. Prov. 4:7; Jam. 1:5
Thought for the day:
Salvation births into a well-tested success covenant.
