March 28th                    Be Content
Bible Reading:              Jam. 5:13

1 Tim. 6:6
‘now godliness with contentment is great gain’

The Supreme Court of all creation, the Throne of God, does not hear cases shrouded in discontentment. Be satisfied. ‘Godliness with contentment is great gain’. Don’t rate your life based on material possessions because its’ hard to praise with discontentment.

Think about it, you are not where you used to be and things could have been much worse. Be joyful about today and create a path for tomorrow. Godliness with contentment is great gain but with discontentment is great pain.

Discontentment is caused by stress, rash decisions, depression, debt, ill health, wrath, impatience, foolish comparisons, etc. Escape the rat race and establish a God-chase.

Prov. 30:15-16
the leech has two daughters — give and give! There are three things that are never satisfied, four never say, enough! The grave, the barren womb, the earth that is not satisfied with water — and the fire never says, enough!

Don’t be like the grave, barren womb, the earth or fire that never say ‘enough’. Be satisfied with where you are and give God praise in anticipation of where God is taking you.
