Mar. 7th Redeems From Destruction
Bible Reading: Ps. 103:1-5; Ps. 23:4

Ps. 103:4 ‘who redeems your life from destruction…’
Left to our own devices we would have self-destructed and if Satan had his way we would all be in the pit. David thanked God for rescuing his life from a natural spiral into chaos, despair and darkness.
‘Who redeems…’ God is our on-going, un-ceasing, un-failing and un-changing Redeemer. This is God’s daily gift to His children and the least we can do is recognise and appreciate it. He saves us not only from the devil and evil; He saves us from our selves.
Thank God for what He does even when we do not see, hear or know it. It’s impossible to tell how many car wrecks, plane crashes, bad mistakes, fatal errors, satanic set-ups, etc he has redeemed us from.
Your home, children, ministry, business, career, etc would have been destroyed but God kept and preserved them. Thank Him. ‘Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade at your right hand’ Ps. 121:4-5
Prayer:
• Come against delays, obstacles and frustrations to God’s plans and purposes for you using Jesus’ name Hab. 2:3
• Quench fiery darts of the enemy to sow evil talk, bitterness and anger that bring discord and disharmony Heb. 12:15
Thought for the day:
God is the eternal and exceptional Shield and Shade.
