Mar. 2nd Just Do It
Bible Reading: Is. 55:11; Ps. 67:5-7
1 Cor. 1:18
‘for the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God’
Ignoring the Word is mischievous madness or intellectual insanity. Just do what the Word says. That’s why Paul said ‘the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing’ but to those who know better it is the ‘power of God’.
One of the first principles of modern medicine is discovering the cause of a disease before attempting to treat it. Many do not realise that at the root of their struggle, sweat and suffering is ingratitude and a complaining disposition.
The bible says ‘let the people praise you O God’. Do not take God’s goodness for granted or you will soon be grounded. When you stop appreciating God’s doings, things start depreciating. The truth is acknowledging God is the ticket to a bright future.
Be full of thanksgiving and praise. Do not be anxious but appreciate the little and the big things. Remind yourself of how and when God healed, delivered, provided and protected you. This simple habit will bring you great testimonies
Prayer:
• Ask for open doors and resist demonic oppositions, embargoes and roadblocks. 1 Cor. 16:9
• The Church of God will operate in ‘Proof Producing’ faith throughout the year Rom. 1:8
Thought for the day:
Starve the habit of ingratitude and start the practice of praise.
