Mar. 21st                       Revelation Through Praise
Bible Reading:     Ps. 119:105, 130; 22:3; Eph. 1:17-19; Acts 4:29-31

1 Jn. 1:5 ‘this is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all’

On a visit to Africa, one night the lights suddenly went out. A frantic search for candles commenced, as no one knew how long the blackout would last. When life tosses darkness, seek for bible light that will shine in the midst of the darkness. ‘For you will light my lamp; the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness’ Ps. 18:28

Often it’s while praising God that His light shines through. The truth is God dwells in peoples praise and wherever He is, light is present, for God is light. Therefore illuminate your heart with revelation by simply praising God often.

2 Kg. 3:14-16 ‘and Elisha said, as the Lord of hosts lives, before whom I stand, surely were it not that I regard the presence of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, I would not look at you, nor see you. But now bring me a musician. Then it happened, when the musician played, that the hand of the Lord came upon him. And he said, thus says the Lord…’

Praise clears the way for bible direction and revelation, so discipline yourself to praise God irrespective of the blackout. Release the glorious light of God’s word. Elisha couldn’t access God’s direction until he found a vessel of praise. Find your praise and you will find divine revelation.
