Mar. 20th                      Praise Harvests
Bible Reading:     Ps. 65:5-6; Gen. 8:22; Rev. 14:15; Gal. 6:7-9

Ps. 67:5-6 ‘let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you. Then the earth shall yield her increase; God, our own God, shall bless us.’

The principle of sowing and reaping is applicable not only in agriculture but also in praise and thanksgiving. The principle applies in more ways than one. Praise and thanksgiving are forms of sowing that cause one to reap greatly. Praise is a switch that releases the ‘fatness’ and ‘yield’ of the earth.

The children of Israel were once faced by a confederation of enemies (2 Chronicles 20). After receiving a prophetic word, they embarked on a ‘praise’ battle that resulted in an astonishing victory. Understand that as you sing to God in praise He will set ambushes against your enemies.

Praise and thanksgiving water the seeds of praying, tithing, offerings, etc. You must praise God constantly and continually to release your harvest. Farmers know seeds need rain to germinate and grow into a harvest. Learn to praise God until the expected harvest manifests.

God hates complaining, whether vocalized or internalized. Grumblers never experience a harvest and divine increase. Moaning attracts draughts and will stop anyone from moving forward but praise sets on the right path.
