Mar. 16th             Some Call Him…
Bible Reading:     Ps. 66:1-4

Ps. 89:15 ‘blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! They walk, O Lord, in the light of your countenance’

Some call the Lord the God of Abraham, the Fear of Isaac and Creator of all things. That’s who He is. Abba Father, the Holy One of Israel, Jehovah and Yahweh. He is the Mighty God of Wonders and Deliverer of mankind.

To Nebuchadnezzar He was the Fourth-man in the fire. To Pharaoh He was the God of the Hebrews and to Haman the God of Mordecai, the One of remembrance. Ezekiel saw the Wheel in the midst of the wheel and to Elijah He was the One that answers by fire.

Jesus called Him ‘My God, My God…’ and to Hannah He was the God of Shiloh. Abraham said He is ‘God will Provide’ and David bragged of Him as Mightier than Goliath. To Esther He was the All-round Deliverer and Isaiah saw Him ‘high and lifted up with His train filling the temple’

Surely He is worthy of your praise. Isaiah called Him the Child born, the Son given and the government is upon His shoulders. He is Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and the Prince of Peace. Glory be to God.

Prayer:

  • Ask for divinely connected friendships and grace to open up to new relationships. 18:24; Prov. 17:17; 2 Cor. 6:12-13
  • Thank God for divine ideas and opportunities to display the ‘works’ of God’s in the market place. 1 Cor. 16:9
