July 3rd Give The Ark A Place
Bible Reading: 2 Sam. 6:6-12; Josh. 4:14-17

2 Sam. 6:6-7
‘Uzzah put out his hand to the ark of God and took hold of it, for the oxen stumbled. Then the anger of the Lord was aroused against Uzzah, and God struck him there for his error; and he died there by the ark of God’
When God struck Uzzah, David was angered, fearful and would not give the Ark a place. You see, the Ark speaks of God’s Word (the tablets Moses received on the mount) and power (Aaron’s rod that budded). However Obed-Edom, a Gittite, allowed the Ark into his home and prospered marvellously in a just three months.
Many are apprehensive of the Ark of God’s truth about prosperity. People simply don’t trust God and point to an ‘Uzzah’ they believe meant well but met financial ruin. I have met Christians who will not embrace tithing for instance; they just can’t bring themselves to place this truth in their heart.
You have a choice before you. The Israelites had to either embrace the Ark and step through the River Jordan into Canaan or reject it and remain in the wilderness. You will not be found in a financial desert; in less than three months you will have a great economic change as God’s Ark of truth on prosperity settles in your home.
Prayer:
i. Pray that every leader, worker and member of Glory House will be consumed with the zeal of the Lord. Jn. 2:17
ii. Ask God to order your steps as you continue into the second half of the year Ps. 119:133; 37:23
Thought for the day:
The New Testament is your 21st Century Ark of the Covenant
