Feb. 24th Revelations For Situations
Bible Reading: Ps. 1:1-3; Ps. 119:99
Josh 1:8 ‘this Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success’
Faith imparting revelation requires bible meditation. Simply put, to meditate is to reason in the scriptures until the way out of every situation is found. It is to linger in the scriptures, searching for God-answers to human-problems
David said ‘oh, how I love your law! It is my meditation all the day’ Ps. 119:97 Quietly question the scriptures, speak in ‘tongues’, your Spirit given language until the bible comes alive in your heart and direction is clear.
Meditation craves for Holy Spirit answers and says ‘show me the way’. It gathers spiritual material and quests for divine insight and truth from God. No one meditates on the scriptures and remains at the same level of revelation and faith.
Cultivate the habit of bible meditation and learn the secret of every faith champion. When confronted with a life challenge, take a step back and meditate on the Word till the Spirit sheds light on the situation. You will discover with the bible light comes increasing levels of faith.
Prayer:
i. Ask God to walk with you and validate His Word with signs and wonders wherever you go Ezra 7:6; Acts 2:22
ii. Travail for souls to be won. Content with and resist every demonic stronghold in this area Jer. 1:9-10
Thought for the day:
Faith fails when revelation doesn’t match the situation
