Feb. 16th Faith Actions II
Bible Reading: Mat. 6:33; Heb. 4:7; Jer. 20:9
Jn. 6:63 ‘it is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life’
Indecision, inaction or delayed actions are evidence of unbelief. This is the ‘Reuben Syndrome’, Jacob said ‘as unstable as water’. Faith is not a theory but action based on revelation. When truth hits your spirit, act promptly. Jn. 5:4-7; Gen. 49:3-4; Judg. 5:15-16
Give revelation expression as soon as it burns in your heart. If you do not move with the Word you will soon be removed from your place. Be faith-emboldened and take actions for healing, prosperity, purity, power, progress, etc. Heb. 11:1; Jn. 16:13
If you seek the kingdom of God (His faith and His ways) and His righteousness (pleasing Him) then all ‘these’ things will be added. Rest assured God is a God of the ‘now’, respects ‘now’ faith and intervenes in the ‘now’. Phil. 1:21; Ps. 46:1
Receive grace for prompt actions of faith today. Earnestly ask God for wisdom and insight into the appropriate actions that validate faith and provoke God’s intervention in the affairs of men. And as you do this, prepare for a bumper harvest of testimonies.
Prayer:
i. Greater capacity to understand the Word and the ability to produce results with it Job 32:8; Prov. 2:6; Is. 55:11
ii. Against global warming, radical Islam, economic mishap, youth corruption, devastations, etc. Jn. 10:10; Zech. 2:8
Thought for the day:
