August 30th Divine Wisdom II
Bible Reading: Prov. 4:11
Prov. 3:13-14 ‘happy is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gains understanding; for her proceeds are better than the profits of silver, and her gain than fine gold’
Wisdom makes happy and gets rid of depression, sorrow and misery because it reveals options, solutions and escape routes. It leads in the right path and all you have to do is follow to end up in success. Wisdom is more powerful than the force of death; the bible says ‘fools die for lack of wisdom…’ Prov. 10:21 It also gives stability in troubled times and strength for salvation.
Is. 33:6 ‘wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times, and the strength of salvation; the fear of the Lord is His treasure’
Jesus did mighty works through wisdom and His enemies gossiped about it. The same shall happen to you. Wisdom is so vital that Job asked ‘where can wisdom be found?’ Job 28:12. The bible is clear about where wisdom being found in salvation, searching in prayer and spiritual transfers by the laying on of hands.
1 Kg. 3:12 ‘behold, I have done according to your words; see, I have given you a wise and understanding heart, so that there has not been anyone like you before you, nor shall any like you arise after you’
Prayer:
i. Ask for God’s Presence to go ahead of you. Exod. 33:14-15
ii. Present your life as a living sacrifice to God. Rom. 12:1
Thought for the day:
God is the source of all wisdom.
