August 23rd Renew Your Mind III ‘Instruction’
Bible Reading: Is. 60:1; Jn. 5:39
Hos. 4:6 ‘my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for me; because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children’
Instruction enables information for the transformation of your mind. When you stop learning you stop living. Until you give your mind new material it will keep thinking the way it always has. You must subject yourself to learning, sound teaching and new knowledge thereby changing your thought patterns. It is intellectual suicide to stop learning or be incapable of unlearning bad or dated things.
1 Pt. 1:13 ‘therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ’
Search the scriptures. Cast down demonic and destructive imaginations. Determine your thoughts, take personal responsibility and pay the price for success. Your thought patterns make or mar you. Till you think success you’ll never be a success so surround yourself with success thinking stimuli.
Prov. 23:7 ‘for as he thinks in his heart, so is he. Eat and drink! He says to you, but his heart is not with you’
Prayer:
i. Take authority over territorial spirits that hold people in bondage in various regions of the world. Dan. 10:8-13
ii. Pray that God’s will prevails over nations, people groups and global conflict zones. Mat. 6:10
