August 9th Refuse To Be Ordinary
Bible Reading: Deut. 28:13; Gen. 1:27
Ps. 139:14 ‘I will praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvellous are your works, and that my soul knows very well’
Refuse to be ordinary. Don’t accept average and reject traces of shame, stagnation, sorrow, sickness or shortage. You are not an accident of nature but a nurture of faith. It is possible to prosper in all that you do ‘therefore keep the words of this covenant, and do them, that you may prosper in all that you do’ Deut. 29:9. God wants you to be ‘above only’ and has made provision for it.
Ps. 8:4-5
‘what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you visit him? For you have made him a little lower than the angels, and you have crowned him with glory and honour’
God epitomizes, exemplifies and embodies success and He also made you in His image. He wants you to live out His attributes here on earth. Remember, the seed of success is already in you so allow it to germinate. You shall be an outstanding success and remain that way too.
Eccl. 3:14 ‘I know that whatever God does, it shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, and nothing taken from it. God does it, that men should fear before Him’
Prayer:
i. Seek God to restore the Body of Christ to the place of glory and power. Joel 2:25
ii. Ask God to raise every afflicted one in the Body of Christ out of the pit. Jam. 5:13-15
Thought for the day:
Accepting ‘average’ is the death of stellar success.
