Feb. 20th Walk In Love III
Bible Reading: 1 Jn. 4:16-17; Deut. 30:19; Jn. 21:15-17
Josh. 24:15 ‘and if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord’
Love is the choice of the wise. It’s God’s love that makes a person wear divinity like a garment. Choose life by choosing love. God lovers never become losers. The truth is a kingdom winner must first be a genuine lover.
Paul said ‘I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ’ 2 Cor. 11:2 Make a commitment to walk in love. Cut a deal with God and stand by it. It pays to walk in love.
Ask the Holy Spirit to help you. Call on God in faith for the passion, drive and impartation of the spirit of divine love. ‘Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us’ Rom. 5:5
Then step out in faith and start living the life of love. You cannot truly love God or neighbour without knowing and showing it. Even if God kills you, love Him still. Be resilient, even obstinate about your love walk and faith will come alive. Jude. 1:3

i. Pray for insight and truth for progressive sanctification and perfection Jn. 17:17; 2 Cor. 3:18; Rev. 3:18
ii. God’s mercy to end devastation in nations where there is famine, war and disease Gen. 18:20-23; 2 Chr. 7:14
