Feb. 5th Unlimited Possibilities II – Devotional by Dr Albert Odulele
Bible Reading: Mk. 9:23; 10:27; Jn. 10:34-35; 14:12
Jn. 14:12 ‘most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to my Father’
The great servant of God, David Oyedepo, said ‘faith is active partnership with the invisible, enabling you to achieve the impossible’. Faith puts impossibility within reach. See with the eyes of faith and the impossibilities of previous years will come to pass this year. Heb. 11:24-27
Faith enables and empowers you to function as God, propelling you from human-limitation to divine-possibility. It puts you in the God class. Unbelief cuts you off and out of exploits and exceptional living but faith firmly grafts you in. Mat. 8:24-25; 9:29
Consider the state of the disciples when they were caught in a terrible storm. They were filled with unbelief and questioned God’s love, faithfulness and ability. They said ‘we are perishing’. Unlike them, no matter how severe the storm is, stand in faith.
Speak to the ‘storm’ as Jesus did. Rebuke HIV, migraine, cancer, sickness, death, depression, failure, shame, bondage, calamity, lack and the likes by faith. Command ‘peace be still’; believe what you say and step into a world of exceptional outcomes. Rom. 11:16-23
Prayer:
i. Decree victory in all battles. Claim blood bought triumph and put Satan in his place. Exod. 14:13; Is. 54:17
ii. Arrest the activities of ravenous wolves and destiny wasters seeking to devour and derail flock Acts 20:29-30; Mat. 7:15
Thought for the day:
Every possibility of life hinges entirely on the viability of faith
