August 18th Practice The Word II
Bible Reading: Neh. 9:17; 2 Cor. 10:3-6
Mat. 5:19 ‘whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven’
Know the word. Study the word. Understand the word and also practice the word. God is not to be blamed for failing health, wellbeing, family life, ministry or career. He has already provided the way out; walk in it and it’ll work. It’s non-negotiable; you must do the word and not just hear or know it.
Exod. 19:5
‘now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to me above all people; for all the earth is mine’
If you obey the word you will become a ‘special treasure’ of God on earth and be ‘above all people’. Wow! God can’t lie and is showing you His secret to success right now. Act promptly on all He shows you in His word and be divinely relocated to enduring success, unquestionable exploits and unmitigated favour.
Job 36:11-12 ‘if they obey and serve Him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures. But if they do not obey, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge’
Prayer:
i. Pray that believers all walk worthy of God who called them out of darkness. 1 Thess. 2:12
ii. Decree a season of turn-around for Christians in your church and nation. Ps. 107:35

Obey God and serve Him and spend your days in prosperity.
