July 14th The Covenant of Sowing II
Bible Reading: 1 Kg. 3:4-13; 2 Cor. 8:1-7
1 Sam. 9:7-8 ‘then Saul said to his servant, but look, if we go, what shall we bring the man? For the bread in our vessels is all gone, and there is no present to bring to the man of God. What do we have? And the servant answered Saul again and said, look, I have here at hand one-fourth of a shekel of silver. I will give that to the man of God, to tell us our way’
Saul invoked the law of seedtime and harvest to a point that God got involved in his affairs. The prophet Samuel said ‘what was lost has been found’. Solomon gave a thousand offerings to the Lord and God appeared to him the same night. This is the covenant of sowing.
Change your harvest by addressing what you do with your seed. The future you desire is contained in the seed you have. Ask God what, where and when to sow for the harvest you so earnestly desire and embrace instruction and impartation for the manifestations of abundance.
Abraham gave God ‘his only son Isaac’ and heaven applauded his willingness with great prosperity. David said ‘I will not give God something that will cost me nothing’ and the plague was stopped. The law of sowing and reaping cannot fail.
