IT’S ALL ABOUT YOUR CHOICES. YOU CAN’T HAVE IT IF YOU DON’T CHOOSE IT.

Psalm 30:5b “Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.”
I read once that we make over 2500 choices every day. Can you believe that? That is a lot of decisions to be making on an on-going basis daily. With this fact being stated, it highlights the importance of starting off on the right note at the beginning of each and every day, making the right decisions in our words and in our actions.
Psalm 30:5b tells us that joy comes in the morning. But will joy come to us if we don’t choose to have it?
If you wake up in the morning all grumpy and still focusing on what A or B said yesterday, which upset you, can you partake of the Joy set for that day that is actually waiting for you? The answer is a simple NO.
Our joy does come in the morning; in fact it’s at the door right now waiting for you and I to open up the door of our heart so that it can enter in.
When you wake up and declare that “today is a beautiful and favoured day”, you open the door to Joy. When you make the choice that “no matter what I face today, I am still a conqueror”, you have again opened the door to the joy of the Lord. Joy is the fuel that gives you the strength to face any challenges in your day.
Joy does come in the morning BUT there is a choice that we have to make in order to receive it. Do not worry about the weeping, the worries, doubts and disappointments of yesterday. It’s a new day.
My DECLARATION TODAY is that I will stay conscious and alert to the choices that I make. I realise that the quality of my life is determined by the quality of my choices. So today I choose to be joyful. I choose to be peaceful. I choose to be favoured. I choose to be blessed and to be a blessing. I choose to say the right things and I choose to ignore distractions. Today I choose to be led by the Holy Spirit. I stand by this declaration in Jesus name. Amen
