Mar.10th Signs And Wonders
Bible Reading: Jn. 11:41, 43-44; Ps. 114:7
Ps. 106:47 ‘save us, O Lord our God, and gather us from among the Gentiles, to give thanks to your holy name, to triumph in your praise’
Thanksgiving is a significant weapon in working miracles, signs and wonders. Jesus thanked God and didn’t wail, moan or grumble when standing before the tomb of Lazarus. That’s the mystery that brought the decaying dead man back to life.
Those who are thankful do not need to grovel or groan when confronting impossible obstacles. They simply command the miraculous. Notice that even ‘death’ bows to the power of thanksgiving. I see dead situations coming to life in Jesus’ name.
Thanksgiving miraculously recovers lost grounds, compels things to work and terminates the grounds for sorrow or mourning. This is why Paul commands ‘in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you’ Thess. 5:18
If you have lost ‘something’ or ‘anything’; God is the reason why you have not lost ‘everything’. Bless God for not losing everything and as the Psalmist says ‘tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob’ Ps. 114:7
Prayer:
• Wisdom to train children to be godly and anointed for exploits in God’s service. Is. 54:13; Prov. 22:6; Ps. 132:12; Jos. 24:15
• Ask that the Body of Christ be divinely guided on what to do in this global troubled season. 1 Chron. 12:32, Mat. 17:27, 13:54
Thought for the day:
For losing ‘something’ and not ‘everything’ be thankful.
