Feb. 21st Revelation Not Information
Bible Reading: 1 Cor. 2:9-13; Jn. 16:12-13
2 Cor. 13:8 ‘for we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth’
Faith is a product of revelation and not mere information. Whatever God reveals He is committed to release. Faith doesn’t just believe; it also sees. Therefore the more truth you see, the more majestic ones ride in life becomes. Mat. 24:35; Ps. 45:3-5
Revelation is mostly about what is seen and not what is heard. That’s why you must rely on the Holy Spirit for faith bestowing revelation. The Spirit communicates to the spirit-man, not the intellectual-mind, faith for exploits in every field of endeavour. Ps. 119:18
Here’s an important thing to learn. You need to practice ‘quietness’ _ noisy rowdy environments steals great spiritual treasures. Allow God to pull you aside regularly. God said in Ps. 46:10 ‘be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!’
When Jesus heard that Lazarus ‘was sick, He stayed two more days in the place where He was’ Jn. 11:6. Regardless of the crisis or crushing news, ‘stay’ in God’s presence and obtain the revelation for victory by practicing quietness. 1 Jn. 1:1
Prayer:
i. Pray that the plans of God are unveiled and His will is established in 2015. Mat. 610; Lk. 1:38
ii. Let the church be one. Let it see the blessings of unity and walk in them Jn. 17:22; 10:16; Ps. 133:1-3
Thought for the day:
Internal and external quiet are spiritually priceless
