Feb. 17th Bold Speech; Breakthrough Faith
Bible Reading: Rom. 10:10; Mk. 11:23
Mk. 10:27 ‘but Jesus looked at them and said, with men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible’
Arise and confront the things you don’t want in life. The bible is an open chequebook but faith signs the leaflets. Hence faith is your greatest need. Failure begins when faith fails and the realm of faith you operate in determines your rating in life. Hab. 2:4; Eph. 1:3
Bold ‘bible speaking’ is the kind of faith that produces results. ‘Therefore they stayed there a long time, speaking boldly in the Lord, who was bearing witness to the word of His grace, granting signs and wonders to be done by their hands’ Acts 14:3
The apostles persisted ‘speaking boldly’ and God kept ‘bearing witness to the Word’. Speak boldly and not timidly. Your tongue is a spiritual weapon for victory. God spoke and all He said became a reality; you are made in His image. Gen. 1:1-3; Ps. 81:10-14
Comply with the rules of faith. Speak with heart convictions and not from circumstantial positions. Stop the beggarly praying and start boldly declaring God’s Word. The louder you speak the more authority you command. 2 Cor. 13:8; 2 Kg. 4:26
Prayer:
i. Receive grace to be an expression of God’s compelling love that goes the extra mile. Mat. 5:40-42; 2 Cor. 5:13-15
ii. Resist the spirit of terrorism in the UK and the nations; declare a canopy of protection Is. 54:14-17; Ps. 91:9-10
Thought for the day:
God is always willing, always able and always ready
