Feb. 10th I See Clearly
Bible Reading: Gen. 12:1-4; 13:14-15
Heb. 11:27 ‘by faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible’
The journey of faith begins with what you see, your sight. As is often said ‘your sight determines your height’. You cannot go far or achieve much if you cannot look and see far. God is not obligated to give you what you cannot see.
God told Abraham ‘for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever’ Gen. 13:15 There is nothing God cannot do. Stop asking what God can do and start asking yourself what you can see. Can you see health, prosperity, progress, preservation, a harmonious marriage, victory, etc.? Jer. 32:17, 27; Mk. 10:27
See by the eye of faith. See through the spectacles of Scriptures. Clear bible sight is great faith. When you see the invisible, you do the impossible. David saw Goliath defeated and Joshua saw God’s promise and not giants. 1 Sam. 17; Num. 13:27-33
What you see in the Scriptures turns adversity into advantage. Live by faith (spiritual sight) and not by sight (natural senses). Reject the devil’s evil images and open up a bible-photo-album. That’s why Paul had a ministry to make men see. Eph. 3:8-9; Ps. 119:89
Prayer:
i. Ask God to revive your heart and fill you with fresh fire, passion and wisdom to win souls. Ps. 85:6; Rom. 12:11
ii. Pray for revival in the universal Church; ask for a divine awakening Joel 2:23, 28-29; Hos. 6:2
