Feb. 9th Acquiring Faith II _ Testimonies
Bible Reading: Ps. 119:46; Gen. 8:22
Rev. 12:11 ‘and they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death’
Testimonies of faith exploits provoke faith in those who hear them. Accept every testimony you hear as a personal challenge and possibility. If God did it for someone else, He assuredly is willing to do the same for you. Rom. 2:11
Cultivate the habit of rehearsing testimonies of the little and big things God does. Take note of whatever the challenge was and how truth was practically applied. Faith is only faith when the Word is put into action. What did you or the one who shared the testimony do based on a bible truth?
Testimonies are faith boosters but also seeds that multiply when sown. I often tell people that when testimonies (no matter how insignificant they appear) are not shared the flow of more ceases. So let those incredible personal or others testimonies come alive in the heart and faith will erupt there.
Recite testimonies to yourself, to anyone who cares to listen, in church services and to the devil. David shared his victories over lions and bears to Saul and eventually to Goliath. The rest is history _ he was promoted by his ‘testifying’ faith
Prayer:
