July 7th Where Poverty Began I?
Bible Reading: Gen, 3:1-24; Deut. 28:15-56; Zech. 1:17-21

Jn. 3:5-6
‘Jesus answered, most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit’
In the beginning Adam was clothed in glory, lived in complete abundance and lacked nothing. It’s after he sinned nakedness, shame and decreased productivity came in. Sin ultimately drove man out of the Garden of Eden and the only cure to sin is the Blood of Jesus. That’s one reason why Jesus said ‘you must be born again’.
The Law, which was given to reveal sin, comes with a curse to those who are under it. There are over fifty curses of the Law and over thirty of those are poverty-curses. Thank God ‘Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the Law’ that ‘the blessing of Abraham might come upon us’ Gal. 3:13-14.
The devil knows God’s kingdom is spread through prosperity. He therefore uses mysterious means to attack the wealth of believers causing things not to work and frustrating enterprise. However, ‘the truth makes us free’; bible revelation counters satanic confrontation. Satan has no power over you.
Prayer:
i. Decree restoration of joy, peace, faith, spiritual vigour and truth in Glory House families Joel 2:25
ii. Pray for a revival of godliness, passionate evangelism and good works in your local church Ps. 110:2-3; Tit. 3:14
Thought for the day:
Poverty started somewhere but can also be stopped.
