September 2nd Spiritual Foundations II
Bible Reading: Prov. 3:32; Mat. 16:16-19; Ps. 16:5-8; 9:13
Ps. 25:14-16 ‘the secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, and He will show them His covenant. My eyes are ever toward the Lord, for He shall pluck my feet out of the net. Turn yourself to me, and have mercy on me, for I am desolate and afflicted’
God has secrets. Secrets are portions of information known to only a select number. National-security secrets, military secrets and industrial secrets are serious matters; how much more covenant secrets? I pray that God will grant you access to His heavenly secrets for earthly impact in the name of Jesus.
Abraham received the secret of ‘circumcision’ for lasting relationship with God. Moses was shown the secret of the ‘rod’ as a tool for signs, wonders and deliverance. Malachi saw the ‘tithe’; Isaiah embraced the mystery of ‘joy’ and John the Baptist proclaimed the secret of ‘repentance’ and the coming Messiah.
Is. 12:3-4 ‘therefore with joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. And in that day you will say: praise the Lord, call upon His name; declare His deeds among the peoples, make mention that His name is exalted’
God’s kingdom works on the basis of uncommon truths and mysteries. The practices of divine counsel, instruction, understanding and wisdom are the secrets of exploits in any area. That’s why David said ‘with you is the fountain of life, in your light we see light…’ Ps. 36:9 God’s life flows through His ‘light’.
Prayer:
i. Decree that Glory House enters a new season of joy, peace and progress. Is. 61:3
ii. Stand against every satanic agenda against believers in the church or the church itself. Mat. 28:18
Thought for the day:
Knowledge of uncommon truths produces an uncommon life.
