March 26th                    Stop The Destroyer
Bible Reading:              Num. 11:1; 1 Cor. 10:10-11

1 Cor. 10:10 ‘nor complain, as some of them also complained, and were destroyed by the destroyer’

Everyone who complains lives in defeat and all who praise walk in victory. No matter how legitimate the reasons, never murmur because the things recorded in the bible are for your admonition. The easiest way to suffer destruction is to complain and cease to see what God has done.

Wise up, stop the grumbling and start the journey of accomplishment. People respond to complaints with sympathy but God reacts with anger. ‘God’s anger was aroused… so the fire of the Lord burned amongst them…’ Folk, this is serious. It wasn’t the devil at work here; God was enraged against His own children.

People’s enmity or mockery cannot stop you but God can. Be clear in your spirit that complaining is taboo and invokes God’s strong and sore displeasure. ‘It’s a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Living God’ Heb. 10:31. The bible says God ‘consumed’ His people.

Charge and judge all inner accusations directed towards the Sovereign Lord. Do not let transient lack, failure, sickness or attacks lure you into fatal and permanent disaster. No one can bring charges against God and win the case. Let it go and celebrate the King of Glory.

Prayer

  • Ask the Lord to place His hands on you and work signs and wonders so that people may believe. Ps. 65:5; Acts 4:29-31; Mk. 16:17
  • Pray against high-level diabolical strategies that threaten the preaching of the Gospel. 1 Pt. 5:8-9.

Thought for the Day
