Early Life and History

On the winter morning of the 5th January 1964 Dr Albert Taiwo Tokunbo Odulele, a twin, was born in St. Mary’s Hospital, Whittington, London to Nigerian parents Abel Oyebajo and Patience Aotola. The family soon emigrated to Nigeria where he remained throughout his formative years.

Dr Albert Odulele graduated from Ogun State University (now known as Olabisi Onabanjo University) in Nigeria with a Bachelor of Science in Medicine and Surgery in 1989. Following his relocation to the United Kingdom, he worked for the civil service for a short period of time. In 1991 Dr Albert Odulele reluctantly agreed to lead a fellowship he attended. The small group met weekly to pray and study the bible but over time grew numerically.

Over time God spoke expressly to His servant in a series of incredible, unexpected visions and encounters. On 22nd May 1992 he resigned his position in the civile service and laid aside his dreams to practise medicine in the UK and become a specialist obstetrician. He commenced a period of seeking God’s face for nine months regarding the assignment that lay ahead of him. In March 1993 Glory Bible Church was birthed and met at its first leased premises, 78 Capworth Street, Leyton, London. The church later changed its name to Glory House in 1999.

On 23rd September 1995 Dr. Albert Odulele married Mary Abosede, the mother of their two children: Christopher Olufemi and Tiana Morojureoluwa.
