Feb. 6th Unlimited Possibilities III
Bible Reading: Gen. 5:24; Rom. 8:31-32
Heb. 11:5-6 ‘by faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God. But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.’
A while back, I flew into Nairobi Kenya and then later on the same year into Tokyo Japan. Interestingly, I could buy whatever I wanted in both countries with the US dollars I had on me. My gender, age, ethnicity, education, passport or language did not matter.
Understand that faith is like a ‘universal currency’, and can be spent by anyone, anywhere and at anytime. Its purchasing power is geographically and spiritually consistent and holds the same value irrespective of where or who wields it.
Every promise in the bible is reliable (God cannot lie) but only obtainable by faith. Living faith paves the way for divine intervention, it brings God on the scene and establishes a partnership between God and man.
Commit God to action by faith. David said, ‘I will worship toward your holy temple, and praise your name for your loving kindness and your truth; for you have magnified your word above all your name’ Ps. 138:2 Faith is real! Faith reaches God’s throne. Faith raises divine assistance and intervention. Num. 23:19
Prayer:
i. Pray against weariness or weakness. Ask for divine strength to run, fly and finish well Is. 40:31; Ps. 34:19
ii. Reject sickness and disease. Declare 2015 a pain and sickness free year Deut. 7:15; Ps. 105:13-15
Thought for the day:
Have you been spending the universal currency of faith issued by the banks of Heaven?
