Feb. 28th Dedicated Living II
Bible Reading: 2 Cor. 8:5; 1 Cor. 6:19, 39
Mark 4:31-32 31 It is like a mustard seed which, when it is sown on the ground, is smaller than all the seeds on earth; but when it is sown, it grows up and becomes greater than all herbs, and shoots out large branches, so that the birds of the air may nest under its shade’
Die to self in total dedication to God. Sow your life to reap His life. Bear in mind that no seed can flourish until it is planted. No matter how ‘tiny’ your life may seem, if you plant it, it will become a mighty ‘thing’ in the earth. Dan. 3:28; Ps. 92:13; Esther 4:16
Dedication always results in distinction. Give your heart over to God completely and you will achieve much. God wants ‘you’ and not ‘yours’. When your heart is given to Him, then your time, money, gifting, etc will flow freely towards Him.
The song of dedication to God is ‘I give myself away so you can use me’. Your destiny is in your relationship with God. Look to Abraham as an example. He left Haran unquestionably, circumcised at 99 years and offered up Isaac as a sacrifice. Is. 51:1-3; Gen. 24:1
As you yield to the Lord I see you becoming a thousand times more than you are now. The Lord will show you secrets for sound health, great wealth and peaceful wellbeing. It may take the passage of time; but it will surely come to pass. Is. 60:22
Prayer:
i. Pray for unusual favour, angelic assistance, effortless takeovers and noiseless progress Ps. 37:23; 16:6
ii. That the Body of Christ will operate in proof producing faith and exploits throughout the year Rom. 1:8
Thought of the Day:
