Feb. 26th A Good Conscience II
Bible Reading: Acts 24:16; Mat. 7:24
Heb. 9:14 ‘how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?’
Thank God for the Blood of the Lamb of God, it has not lost it’s purging power. Every time the devil launches an attack on your mind, accusing you of all manner of wrong, plead the Blood and purge your conscience.
If you are wondering how to keep a clear and clean conscience, it’s simple. Engage in spiritual exercises that increase divine grace, purify the conscience and end constant bombardments of impure thoughts.
Repent promptly of all sin. Praise constantly, Pray daily and in tongues regularly. Reject conscience defilers and fast weekly. Wait upon the Lord and draw close to Him. These powerful practices will enable a conscience free from offence. 1 Jn. 1:9; Is. 58:6; Jude 1:20
It is also important that you be a ‘doer of the word’. Practice what you hear and lastly, place a demand on the anointing to destroy the yoke of a defiled conscience. Keep a clear conscience and your faith will be effective for exploits. Col. 3:16; Jam. 1:21-22; Is. 10:27
Prayer:
i. Receive the capacity in your spirit, soul and body to fulfil God’s plan for your life Acts 1:8; Lk. 1:35
ii. Quench fiery darts of the enemy to sow discord, bitterness, evil talk and disharmony in the church. Heb. 12:15
Thought for the day:
Maintaining a pure conscience is an invaluable faith asset
