Daily Devotionals – By Dr Albert Odulele
Jan. 4th ‘Keys To The Supernatural’
Bible Reading:     2 Kg. 5:1-14; Jn. 5:1-9; Mk. 6:2
Mat. 13:54 ‘when He had come to His own country, He taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished and said, where did this man get this wisdom and these mighty works?’

Recently a lady needed divine intervention in the area of marriage. After speaking to me, I instructed her to choose her wedding gown and then see me. When she did, I asked her to give me a ‘high-five’ and declared it was done. A few days later her fiancé showed up.

It was an instruction of wisdom. The Lord told me ‘all the land which you see I give to you…’ Gen. 13:15 She needed to see herself in a healthy relationship and then get her Pastor to agree with her. Wisdom is a key to the supernatural.
Wisdom is a miracle working divine force and not merely an intellectual endowment. Elisha, by wisdom, told Naaman to bathe in the River Jordan to be healed. Jesus told the man who had been crippled for 38 years to ‘pick up his bed and walk’.
Wisdom heals the sick, raises the dead, cancels debt, frees from captivity and works wonders. Go to the fountain of wisdom and ‘drink’ freely and fully. 1 Tim. 1:17 says ‘now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honour and glory forever and ever. Amen

Prayer:

  1. Resist the spirit behind radical Islam and the spread of terrorism globally. Mat. 18:18-19; Ps. 68:1; Jer. 1:10
  2. Ask God for wisdom to impact the lives of people you come in contact with daily. Be a wisdom-blessing. 2 Cor. 2:14-16

Thought for the day:
Joseph’s wisdom changed the course of Egypt’s history. Gen. 41:39. Why don’t you choose to become a ‘Joseph’ and bring positive and permanent change to a person, community, church, etc?
