August 31st Divine Wisdom III
Bible Reading: Mat. 7:7-8; Deut. 34:9

1 Cor. 1:24, 30 ‘but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God — and righteousness and sanctification and redemption’
Jesus is made unto us wisdom. He is the wisdom and power of God personified and He lives in everyone who is born again. So pay attention to the word of faith, harness the inner wisdom of His Spirit and exercise yourself in wisdom as you learn. Be ever conscious of the root of wisdom that’s in you.
Is. 11:1-2
‘there shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, and a branch shall grow out of his roots. The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord’
Ask God for wisdom; He gives it freely and generously. Ask for daily insights from His word and encounter easy solutions to complex issues. God gives wisdom beyond schooling, intellect and intelligence. It’s divine and ‘if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him’ Jam. 1:5
Wisdom also comes from laying on of hands. This is an impartation of the Spirit of wisdom. It’s effortless, sweat-less empowerment for success. God wants you to succeed and failure is not in your nature. ‘Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands’ 2 Tim. 1:6
Prayer:
i. Pray that God’s will be established in every area of your life; permit Him to have His way. Lk. 22:42
ii. Surrender to God’s word, His Spirit and His wisdom regarding everything that concerns you. Phil. 1:21
Thought for the day:
Ask God for wisdom; it is of greater value than wealth.
