August 28th Discipline II
Bible Reading: Ps. 34:13; Eph. 34:13; Deut. 21:20-21

Mat. 10:8 ‘heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give’
God gives success to matured believers who discipline their thinking and talking. Speak to edify, exhort and comfort. Not complaining, cursing and evil chatter. David said ‘set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips’ Ps. 141:3 You are saved to serve and blessed to be a blessing. Keep this in view and be faithful, available and teachable with your God-given gift.
Prov. 23:21
‘for the drunkard and the glutton will come to poverty, and drowsiness will clothe a man with rags’
Last but not the least, discipline your eating. Educate and restrain your diet quality and quantity. Exercise yourself to moderate, healthy, sufficient but not excessive, godly eating and drinking. Your body is the temple of God and must be treated as such; it is the vehicle of your success.
1 Cor. 3:16 ‘do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?’
Prayer:
i. Decree that nothing will hinder your star from shining brightly and continuously Mat. 5:14-16
ii. Declare that nothing will delay or derail your success from emerging. Ezek. 12:28
Thought for the day:
Those who conquer self become conquerors in life.
